Toys are often thrown away because they are broken or dirty. Toys cannot be collected in the blue recycling bins, even if they are in good condition as they are likely to be damaged during collection and the recycling sorting facility we use is not designed to deal with these items. These should be placed in your green household waste bin.
Other recycling options: Many charity shops and toy libraries accept toys in good condition.
