If you are out and about in the Boston area on the weekend of September 14th and 15th why not visit The Beonna at All Saints?

All Saints is a beautiful medieval parish church, 800 years old and a Grade I listed building. It has recently undergone an extensive conservation and adaptation programme to create a community and events centre.

As part of the National Heritage Open Day Festival, The Beonna will be open on:

Saturday 14th September

11.30am to 12.15pm – Talk about the Beonna Project and a guided tour of the building

1pm to 1.45pm – Talk about the Beonna Project and a guided tour of the building

2pm to 4pm – A Heritage Walk. Starting off from The Beonna take a stroll round the village to learn about the history of the community.

Sunday 15th September

Pop along between 11am and 3pm.

As well as tours of the building there will be:

  • Anglo-Saxon games to play
  • An Anglo-Saxon riddle competition
  • Things to make
  • Teach yourself Anglo-Saxon runes

Children are welcome, Entry is free and refreshments are available.

There is a large car park and the building is easily accessible.
